Frog Day

The DPW "Critter Challenge"

I've been wanting to paint another frog and also experiment with some texture, so the Critter Challenge was another thumbs-up. I tried to create an impasto effect by painting over acrylic gel and gesso texture. Took a bit longer to enter the challenge, because that had to dry first. But it makes for a very tactile small painting, I think.
